The Systems and Networking Group is a subset of the Office of Information Services. Our group consists of 6 members, each with his own area of expertise. We are responsible for the core infrastructure of the campus. This includes:
- Campus ERP system (commonly referred to as "IBM", "Administrative System", or GUS)
- PSU's Wired and Wireless Data Network
- Core Networking Services (DNS/DHCP)
- Faculty/Staff E-Mail
- Anti-Virus and Anti-Spam
- Windows Active Directory, Network Drives, and Software Update Services
- PSU's Enterprise LDAP Directory and Single Sign-on with Shibboleth
- Backup Services
- Virtual Server Cluster with VMware
- Multi-Terrabyte Storage Area Network (SAN)
