Filling Classified Temporary Positions

Employees with classified temporary appointments can work no more than 999 hours in a 12-month period starting the first day of the appointment. If an employee is appointed to more than one classified temporary position, the 12-month period starts with the first appointment and includes hours worked from all classified temporary positions.  All questions regarding the hiring process for temporary classified appointments should be directed to HRS.
