1. I just signed up why cant I login?
A. It may take up to 24 hours for your new GusMail account to be processed and created on the servers. If your account hasn't been created you will receive the message. "We are unable to process your request at this time, please try again later."
2. What is my GusMail ID and Password?
A. You will use the same PSU ID and Password that you use for GUS. So if you change you GUS Password that will also change you GusMail password.
3. Can a student employee get a GusMail account?
A. Yes student employees can have a GusMail account. In fact any student, staff, faculty or alumni of Pittsburg State with a GUS account can sign up for a GusMail account. Staff and faculty of Pittsburg State are reminded to use their pittstate.edu account when conducting official university business.
A. Yes. Pitt State has chossen to move to GusMail as the students official email. With this new email account PSU can guarantee the delivery of important emails that you may receive from PSU.
5. Will Gorilla Mail still exist?
A. Gorilla Mail can be used to check any pittstate.edu Email account.
6. Will my saved messages be moved over to GusMail automatically?
A. No. You may login to your pittstate e-mail account and forward any mail to your new GusMail account. Don't forget to inform people of your new GusMail Email address.
