Request admission information on PSU approximately 2-3 months before planned enrollment. |

Complete the admission application on-line and send the $30 application fee to: |

At least one month prior to attendance, make sure that PSU has received all transcripts from ALL prior colleges attended. |

If transferring for the fall semester, complete a scholarship application online. |

Check with your major department for additional scholarship opportunities. |

Make sure that PSU is listed as a school choice on your FAFSA. If you did not list PSU as a school choice, there are three ways to add PSU: |

|
If currently attending a college or university, ask the financial assistance office at the school that you are currently attending to add PSU to your application. Our school code is 001926. |
|
|
|
Go online to www.fafsa.ed.gov and add PSU's code to your application with the central processor. |
|
|
|
Pittsburg State will add our school code for you if you have a copy of your student aid report showing your Social Security number, DRN number and the transaction number. You may call (620) 235-4240 or (800) 854-PITT so that we can update your file. |

If you listed PSU as a school choice earlier in the year and decide not to attend, please contact the Office of Student Financial Assistance (OSFA) at (620) 235-4240 or (800) 854-PITT so that we can update your file. |

Fill out a Student Data Form and return it to the OSFA. |

If you are selected for verification, you will need to submit to the OSFA: |

Copies of your Federal 1040's, W-2's and any supporting schedules. |
|

Copies of your parents' Federal 1040's, W-2's and any schedules if you had to include their information. |

Once all information is collected and verified, you will receive an award letter detailing the amounts of aid that you are eligible to receive, along with instructions on how to receive your financial aid. |

You will need to verify your enrollment and, if accepting a student loan, complete Entrance Interview Counseling and a Master Promissory Note before any funds can be disbursed. |
