The Presidents Society, founded in 1985, assists the President of Pittsburg State University in providing significant private resources for University needs
Effective July1, 2005, new giving clubs were approved by the PSU Foundation Board of Trustees. To achieve active membership in the Presidents Society, annual gifts must be $5,000 or greater.
Lifetime membership in the Presidents Society is given to those who have made cumulative cash or in-kind gifts totaling $25,000 or more. Donors whose cumulative gifts totaled $10,000 or more before July 1, 2005 were grandfathered in prior to the change.
On September 18, 2009, the Pittsburg State University Foundation Inc. held the 18th annual Pittsburg State University Presidents Society Dinner on Brandenburg Field in Carnie Smith Stadium.
The event was focused on honoring those donors who have helped to secure the future of Pittsburg State University by making major gifts to the PSU Foundation.
