2012 PSU FACULTY AND STAFF CAMPAIGN
Why is the faculty and staff campaign so important? Contributions from current and retired faculty and staff provide funding for programs, departments, and scholarships at Pittsburg State. Equally as important as this funding is the strong message sent to those OUTSIDE the university community, announcing to alumni, friends, corporations, foundations, and community partners that we support Pittsburg State University and feel it is worthy of their support.
Faculty and staff have always been strong supporters of this university, providing financial support and even manual labor on different projects in the past. Your generous gifts of time and talent to Pittsburg State are what help to keep this institution strong and positioned for continued success. Equally important is the understanding that our connection to the students and our mission is imperative to building and maintaining a solid foundation for growth. Our current and retired faculty and staff work daily to make Pittsburg State a better university and help our students prepare for the future.
A gift to the Annual Fund can help support programs that will continue to strengthen Pittsburg State and help current faculty, staff and students achieve even greater success. Many of you have made a commitment to this effort already in FY 13, and we are extremely thankful for it. For those of you who are new to Pittsburg State or who have not yet thought about making a gift, please consider participating in the annual faculty and staff campaign. Now, more than ever, we must rely on private gift support.
Please join us along with many other colleagues and friends in making it a priority to give a gift to Pittsburg State University. Feel free to either return the attached pledge card/payroll deduction form to the University Development Office, or call Josh Shay, Director of Annual Giving, at (620) 235-6127. We look forward to our combined efforts in serving our students, and we appreciate your commitment to Pittsburg State University.
