Career Fair Helpful Information for Employers

Pittsburg State University will welcome over 55 companies to Spring Career Day 2010.  The Office of Career Services is excited to be adding a "green" component to this year's fair spotlighting the many ways companies and organizations participate in environmentally-friendly efforts.

Please find below helpful information for employers arriving for this event.

TIME
10:00 AM-3:00 PM
• Check-in will begin at 8:00 AM for those wishing to set up early.

LOCATION
Overman Student Center, Crimson & Gold Ballroom

• PSU's Campus Map: http://www.pittstate.edu/about/maps/campus-map.dot
• Heading South on Broadway St., turn East on Cleveland Ave.
• Proceed to Cleveland Plaza. 
• Look for a sign that says "Employer Drop Off." You may unload your materials/displays, etc. at this location. Students will be available to assist you, and maps will also be given out at this location directing you to visitor parking.
  

PARKING
Visitor parking is located in the Brown lot behind Axe Library.

• If you go to http://www.pittstate.edu/about/maps/campus-map.dot, you will be able to view a map of campus parking.
• A campus shuttle will be available to shuttle you to and from visitor parking behind Axe Library to the Overman Student Center if needed.
• Tickets will not be issued this day. If you should receive a ticket, please return it to a member of the Career Services staff.

LUNCH
A buffet style luncheon will be held in the Governor's Room from 11:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m.

• The packets that will be on your table will contain different colors of lunch tickets, which will designate times in which you may attend lunch.
• Please follow your designated time so that lunch may be in an orderly fashion.
