Chi Chapter

PHILANTHROPY - Sigma Sigma Sigma's national philanthropy is the Robbie Page Memorial, which benefits children's play therapy rooms. A rock-a-thon (Rockin' for Robbie) and a mud volleyball tournament (We Serve Robbie Page) are put on every year. Mosaic is Sigma Sigma Sigma's local philanthropy, and for this the members participate in Adopt-a-Family and Discover the Possibilities. These are only a few of the philanthropy events that members do each year.

ACADEMIC/SCHOLARSHIP - The minimum GPA for members is a 2.7, and the minimum GPA for officers is a 2.9. Study hours are based upon GPA, and if you do not receive downslips at midterms, your amount of study hours are cut in half. Every month we do grade checks, award Professor of the Month, and participate in Scholar of the Month through Panhellenic. Scholarships are available through headquarters, and we have one local scholarship for $8,000.

COMMUNITY SERVICE - Each member is required to complete 10 hours of community service, outside of the chapter community service projects.

LEADERSHIP - Leadership opportunities include serving on the chapter's Executive Board, Honor Council, chairs, and the Panhellenic Council. Members can also attend Officer Academy, Convention, UIFI, and the Dunham Women of Character Institute.

MEMBERSHIP DEVELOPMENT - We provide educationals throughout the year, attend mental health speakers, attend leadership conferences such as FLS and BLT, and participate in yearly modules.

SISTERHOOD - Sigma Sigma Sigma takes pride in the outstanding sisterhood they encompass. They create personable bonds and lasting friendships to make sure that every member is happy and involved. This is only enhanced by the sisterhood events put on by some of the members. These events range from going to the movies to baking and cooking at the chapter house. This chapter creates genuine relationships and friendships that can never be broken.
