Chi Chapter
Chi Chapter of Sigma Sigma Sigma has existed at PSU since 1922 and has a strong tradition of producing leaders. Sigma Sigma Sigma exists to provide a lifelong sorority experience for women. They promote a perpetual bond of friendship, develop strong womanly character, and inspire high standards of ethical conduct.
Members of Sigma Sigma Sigma can be found all over campus in leadership roles. The chapter helps instill each woman with a strong commitment to success.
Tri-Sigma’s National philanthropy is the Robbie Page Memorial which is foundation that offers fellowships in play therapy for terminally-ill children at Children’s Medical Center in Dallas, Texas and at the University of North Carolina’s Hospital in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Each year the chapter does Rockin’ for Robbie, for 72 hours Sigma Sigma Sigma members sit in rocking chairs along with a cooperating fraternity, and rock to raise money for these children.

- 2010 Chapter of the Triennium (National Award)
- 2010 Outstanding Membership Development (National Award)
- 2010 Pittsburg State University Outstanding Program of the Year for the second year in a row: The Ali Kemp Educational (TAKE) Foundation Fashion Show and Self-Defense class. In 2010, we raised over $500 to go to the foundation to help train more women in self-defense and being more aware of their surroundings.
- 2010 Homecoming Attendant: 2nd runner up
- 2010 Homecoming 1st Place Yell Like Hell, 1st Place Gorilla Games, 2nd Place Canned Food Drive.
- 2010 & 2011: Received all Chapter Excellence Awards for each area. Alumnae Relations, Campus Involvement, Chapter Organization, Chapter Management, Membership Recruitment, Social Service and Scholarship.
- 2011 Homecoming 2nd place Yell Like Hell
- 2011 Presidential Sustainability Award
