Epsilon Chi Chapter
Scholars, Leaders, Athletes, and Gentlemen has been the slogan of Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity for many years. Pi Kappa Alpha believes that by instilling these virtues into young men we will create a better product and thus a better society.
The Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity was founded on March 1, 1868. The men, students, at the University of Virginia, founded the brotherhood on friendship, truth, honor, and loyalty. Pi Kappa Alpha’s Epsilon Chi Chapter was founded on the Pittsburg State University campus in 1963, and since then they have an integral part in the Greek community. The fraternity has at times been among the largest in number active members.
The national philanthropy of Pi Kappa Alpha is the American Cancer Society. In addition to their philanthropic efforts, they also annually participate in the Big Event and have adopted a strip of highway 69, to help with community service throughout the town.
