The Homecoming Committee along with participating student groups have developed guidelines for each Homecoming activity. These guidelines are meant to provide fairness in competition. Guidelines for each event are to the left.

ATTENTION REGISTERED STUDENT ORGANIZATIONS: There will be a Homecoming Information Session if you have any questions about the Homecoming Guidelines and their corresponding events. This will take place on Thursday, August 31st at 7pm in the Sunflower Room.

**REMINDERS**

  • ALL ORGANIZATIONS MUST BE REGISTERED THROUGH THE CAMPUS ACTIVITIES CENTER PRIOR TO THE DEADLINE FOR HOMECOMING IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE IN GORILLA GAMES, YELL LIKE HELL, PARADE, OR SUBMITTING CANDIDATES!!
  • Campus Activities Center will begin accepting online forms and other materials starting at 8:00 am on Tuesday, August 22, 2017. Please note that the deadline for entry forms and supporting materials for ALL EVENTS is 4:00 pm on Friday, September 8, 2017
  • There will be a Homecoming Information Session on Thursday, August 31st at 7:00 pm in the Sunflower Room for organizations to attend if they wish to ask questions about any Homecoming events, or would like to receive updates about the setup for the week of Homecoming.
  • All organizations MUST provide transportation for their king and/or queen candidates either by candidate car or parade float.
  • All organizations who sponsor a king and/or queen must also participate in at least 1 other Homecoming event - candidate cars and Kickoff Night do not count.
  • After each Homecoming week, there is a feedback and evaluation meeting scheduled for input into the next year's guidelines.  The feedback and evaluation meeting will take place at 6:00pm on Monday, October 16, 2017 in the Meadowlark Room of the Overman Student Center.
