Summer work continues on the Pittsburg State campus as the countdown to a new fall semester goes on. Workers this week are making good progress on Gibson Dining Hall’s new roof.

Some groups of students, including international students, the Pride of the Plains Marching Band, and others will check in as early as Monday, Aug. 13.  New faculty orientation begins that day and the opening faculty meeting is set for Aug. 16. Move-In Day, when most of the 1,200 students living in residence halls move in, is Saturday, Aug. 18.

PSU’s 110th fall semester begins on Monday, Aug. 20.
