McCracken said because the spring severe storm season is just beginning, much of the information he will share will be about tornadoes and severe thunderstorms, but he will also touch on other types of emergency situations.

The sessions will cover the campus notification systems and will address both preparedness and actions to take when emergency notifications are given.

“Events of the past year have been a tragic reminder of the power of nature,” McCracken said. “A little bit of information now could save lives at some time in the future.”
