- C. G. Conn - provides a Conn 7C
- Antoine Courtois - provides a TA 10 or a TA 11. Both feature a lifted up curvilinear cup depth and a half/round large rim shape.
TA 10 - medium large. The back bore is conical and narrow.
TA 11 - large diameter. The back bore is conical and narrow.
- Egger, A. - provides an A1 or an AB mouthpiece. Both have a flat rim, or, if desired a round or rounded rim. Custom made mouthpieces are also available with screw rims.
A1 - cup 24 mm

A-1. Cup depth is medium shallow. Bore is .261" (6.62 MM). Rim size is 1.060" (26.90 MM).
A-2. Cup depth is medium shallow. Bore is .250" (6.36 MM). Rim size is 1.040" (26.40 MM).
A-3. Cup depth is medium shallow. Bore is .234" (5.94 MM). Rim size is 1.022" (25.95 MM).
- Vincent Bach - provides a 12E very shallow cup (24.50mm), with a medium wide rim mouthpiece designed principally for the alto.
- Yamaha - provides a 48A standard cup with a medium wide rim mouthpiece. Inner diameter of the rim is 25.25mm with a standard contour and thickness. It has a 5.32 mm throat and a semi-wide back bore

Denis Wick makes both a straight and a practice alto mute. Engemann-Mutes Mutes for brass instruments. The alto is Typ 300/3 and made of wood.
Yamaha is now making a silent brass product for alto. The model number is PM-6, outfit number SB-6.
Currently, there are two alto trombone mutes available in the U.K. Paul Lawrence makes one in wood and Peter Gane makes one in fibre glass. Both are available from Parkers Brass studios.
Some people are using Flugelhorn mutes on the alto with some success.
