Lisa Gerstenkorn holds both a Bachelor of Music Education degree and Master of Music degree in Vocal Performance from Pittsburg State University.  She has been in many performances at PSU, including the roles of the Witch in Hansel and Gretel with PSU Opera, and as Mary Magdalene in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Jesus Christ, Superstar with the PSU Theatre Department.  Ms. Gerstenkorn has also performed with the PSU Jazz Band, appeared onstage with the Theatre in the Park in Shawnee Mission, KS, and has been a resident artist with the Ohio Light Opera in Wooster, Ohio.

Ms. Gerstenkorn was a semi-finalist in both the Classical and Musical Theatre categories of the NATS competition in 2004 and is a member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing, as well as a member of the music fraternity Pi Kappa Lambda.  She currently serves as adjunct voice professor at Pittsburg State University and also has a private voice studio, teaching students of all ages.
