Position Responsibilities: The Web/IT Facilitator for the Center of CTE-TDI will: Develop and maintain the Center's website. Determine, select and maintain the software used to develop the associated databases needed for Center operations. Maintain the security of the Center for CTE-TDI’s materials. Establish a method so that instructors (high school and college instructors) can download information from the Center for CTE-TDI. Modify, organize and place curriculum and best practices on Center website. Maintain social media to insure communications between Center and its constituents. Provide custom development, including graphic design and layout for the Center. Teach courses/workshops on using technology in the CTE classroom/lab. Develop and maintain database for current CTE instructors (secondary and post-secondary) within the State of Kansas and surrounding area for providing CTE-TDI with contact information. Develop and manage an equipment loan program for Center for CTE-TDI simulators/trainers.

Minimum Requirements: Experience in web-based language and development tools. Bachelor's degree in communication, graphic design, computer science, educational technology or applicable field; and a minimum of three years of experience related to web-based and/or data-base management activities required.

Preferred Qualifications: Work experience in training/workforce development. Teaching experience at the secondary or post-secondary level. Master's degree in related area.
