Position Responsibilities: The Office of University Development at Pittsburg State University is searching for an individual to serve as Phonathon Coordinator. Twelve month part-time position (approx. 25 hours/week) mostly Sunday-Thursday evenings for approximately 10 weeks in fall and 8 weeks in spring; some daytime hours required. Responsible for assisting Director of Annual Giving with day to day operations of the Phonathon and other programs.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education; Effective oral and written communication skills, as well as outstanding leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills; Strong computer skills including Microsoft applications; Plans, coordinates, and supervises the phonathon in close coordination with the Director of Annual Giving; Hires, schedules, trains and supervises up to 25 student callers; Generates and maintains daily reports as needed to assist with the analysis of the phonathon; Writes and maintains calling scripts based on PSU’s different constituency groups; Participates in other annual fund programs as needed; Motivates, maintains positive morale and leads and mentors student employees.

Range/Salary: Compensation is $12.40 per hour
