The Global Gorilla Seminar Series
Becoming a Global Gorilla
This series of on-campus seminars will help the campus community become more familiar with all the various aspects of the university's focus.
Each semester we will present monthly seminars on different topics. Some will be informational in nature and some will be educational. We will try to have a variety of offerings each semester that will appeal to each part of our campus community.
We will offer the Global Gorilla certificate to any person who attends four different seminars in a two-year period.
Objectives of the Global Gorilla Seminar series:
Increase the comfort level of all employees in working with international students
Provide a broad view of the international initiatives at PSU
Help all employees understand the place of internationalization as an important part of PSU
Provide training in intercultural communication and how to work with cultural differences
