HISTORY: |

The following projects listed and/or shown on the April 19, 1999 Master Plan have been completed: |
|

1.New Grounds Building |

|
|
2.New Centennial Bell Tower |
|
|
|
3.Closing of Cleveland Street, New Cleveland Plaza and new parking lot west of Cleveland Plaza. |
|
|
4.Stadium Expansion |
|
|
|
5.Willard Plaza (Phase I) |

|

6.Jungle Plaza (Gorilla Village) |
|
|
|
7.Some of the property shown on page 14 of the Master Plan has been purchased. |

1.Total remodel of Russ Hall, Horace Mann Building and Willard Hall. |

2.Major remodeling in Whitesitt Hall, McCray Hall, Kelce Building, Hughes Hall, Axe Library Basement, North Dorms Air Conditioning Phase I. |
|
|
3.New Chemical Storage Building, Message Center and "Nightsong" Statue. |
|
|
4.Building upgrades in Hartman Hall (Elevator), Weede P.E. Building (Structural Repairs, Locker Rooms, Gym Floor and Bleacher Repair). |

|
|
|
The following new projects are being considered for a new Master Plan up-date scheduled to be completed in 2002: |

1.New Chandler Hall Building to replace existing building.(Out for Bids) |

2.New Student Health Center. |
|
|

3.Adjusting the Master Plan for the two residences on Lindburg Street that have been put on the Historical Register. |
|
|
4.New Plaza and parking on south end of Stadium. |
|
|

5.Development of the area now occupied by the east campus apartments. |
|

6.Looking at future growth for the university.(Future NCAA complainant tr ack facility), (Future Research Buildings) |
