Department of Physics Outreach Services
The Department of Physics at Pittsburg State University has expanded to provide outreach services. These services include classroom presentations or lessons, in-service programs, teacher workshops, and courses for academic credit. The department owns several classroom kits that can be used for presentations. These kits are based on a variety of topics such as density, electricity and magnetism, geology, weather, fossils, etc. We can come to your classroom and present a lesson using these kits. These services can also be costumized to fit your curriculum and/or needs. The cost will vary depending upon the type of service or program provided, some of which are free of charge. Please contact the Physics Department to reserve an off campus program.
