EARTH SCIENCE OUTREACH
The Physics department at Pittsburg State University has expanded to provide outreach services. These services include classroom presentations or lessons, in-service programs, teacher workshops, and courses for academic credit. The department owns several classroom kits that can be used for presentations. These kits are based on a variety of topics such as density, electricity and magnetism, geology, weather, fossils, etc. We can come to your classroom and present a lesson using these kits. These services can also be costumized to fit your curriculum and/or needs. The cost will vary depending upon the type of service or program provided, some of which are free of charge. Please contactthe Physics Department  to reserve and off campus program.
