Kimber Lane - Editor-in-Chief
I am a senior in English Education with a minor in Spanish from Lansing, KS, and this is my third year as Kanza editor. In my free time I like to read, watch movies, listen to music or waste time on the Internet. I am a humongous Harry Potter fan and I love owls and anything involving words or language…and PSU Student Publications!
Katie Wright -Design Chief
I’m a junior from Omaha, Neb., and majoring in Communication and Spanish. I enjoy baking, looking for my dream dog on Google images, and procrastinating. Picking fonts for the Kanza this year has been the highlight of my semester.
Taylor Munroe - Photographer
My name is Taylor Munroe and I'm a junior studying Commercial Graphics. I'm from Wichita originally. I plan on being a graphic designer when I graduate. I have several hobbies which include playing bass, painting, and also photography. I'm excited to start working at the Kanza and Collegio since I get to do something I like as a hobby, but also get paid for it.
Kenzi Jordan - Photo Editor
I am a junior majoring in Commercial Graphics and minoring in Art. I am from Kansas City, Missouri, and I am the photo editor for the Kanza with this being my second semester on staff. I love all things creative; photography, painting, drawing, ceramics, etc. I also like to play the piano, read, and just have fun with friends.
Marcus Clem - Writer
Marcus is a sophomore in communication and Spanish, in spite of a glitchy transfer from Johnson County Community College in Overland Park, Kansas. He might say he was born to write, but several editors over the years have begged to differ. Instead, he is a politics junkie who plays too many video games and is afflicted by a massive pen-and-paper complex. He loves to meet new people, and often ends up “meeting” them several times. You should come to the Student Publications office and say hello; at any given time of day, he is likely there, though his mind may not be. It definitely wasn’t around when he wrote this biography. He plans to graduate from PSU in 2016… it’s a nice goal.
Amber Danielson - Photography
I’’m a sophomore psychology major with a great interest in photography. I have been on a yearbook staff in high school and really enjoy the opportunities the Kanza yearbook will provide.
Jessica Sewing - Writer
I am a sophomore in elementary education with a minor in communications. I have been working with student publications since 8th grade. I started in newspapers, then in high school switched to yearbook. I have spent the last semester working on the Collegio and decided to join and write for the Kanza as well.

Joud Bayeh - Writer
I was born in Sao Paulo, the biggest city in Brazil, where I study at the Presbyterian University Mackenzie, Law School. Due to an agreement between my home university and PSU I came to Pittsburg in the fall semester of 2012. Here I participate in the exchange program, majoring in Justice Studies. I started working for the Student Publications thanks to my friend Val Vita who invited me to write first for The Collegio. In the Spring semester I started working for the Kanza, as well, in which I am in charge of covering mainly student organizations and some events around campus
