Our Forensic and Debate team competes in AFA Individual Events and NPDA-style parliamentary debate. Individual events include five oral interpretation events, four public address events, and two kinds of limited preparation events. Team members travel to compete tournaments in Kansas and nationwide. There are some scholarships available to incoming and returning team members. Please see the scholarship application below

Students interested in becoming high school debate and forensic coaches can gain experience on our team and pursue an emphasis in Communication Education. However, all majors and levels of experience are welcome to join the team.
