Benefits-Eligible
Welcome to Pittsburg State University. As a new Benefits-Eligible Unclassified Employee of PSU and the Kansas State Board of Regents, you will be provided with lots of information not only about your job duties and responsibilities, but also about employment with the State of Kansas.
New employees should report to Human Resources Services, 204 Russ Hall, on or before the first day of work to complete the necessary forms and schedule a benefits session, obtain instructions on how to get an ID card, computer access and login, and parking permit.
Following is an outline of paperwork to complete to place you on payroll and topics which should be reviewed as part of your new employee orientation.
New employees are also encouraged to attend special programs presented by HRS for new employees as they are scheduled. If you have any questions about these topics, please contact your supervisor or Human Resource Services.
In addition to the items below, new employees should also go through the Statewide Employee Orientation Program on-line at http://da.ks.gov/ps/orientation. This orientation is designed to provide new employees with an understanding of the structure of the State of Kansas and an overview of employment standards and benefits.
