We hope that you are enjoying the new look and feel, as well as the new features that pittstate.edu is now providing our visitors. In the coming months, we will be continuing to add pages, sites, and features to this new area.
However, we understand that you may still need to find information that has not yet made the move. Not to worry! The old site is still out there, just direct your browser to http://www2.pittstate.edu/ and you'll land right at the old home page. Just be aware that this content is not necessarily being maintained any more.
Old links and bookmarks
Even your old links and bookmarks will work for the time being. Just be aware, once your favorite pages and tools move, you should update your bookmarks. Eventually we will remove these old links. For instance, if you go to the A to Z index via http://www.pittstate.edu/A-Zindex/, that will continue to work for now (and will actually forward you to the old index), but once the new index is complete, you should go to http://www.pittstate.edu/home/az-index.dot.
Department Sites
Currently, you can still get to your department web site like you always have. For instance, http://www.pittstate.edu/comm/ will still take you to the Communication Department web site. As these move into the new site, their location and path will change, however, to something like http://www.pittstate.edu/department/communication/. We know this is a little longer, but it provides a clearer image of where in the site the area resides. Similarly, offices are going into an /office directory, etc.
Reporting Problems
If you've discovered an issue - perhaps a redirect not working right, a link in the wrong place, or something just seems plain messed up all around, please let the web site admin know by dropping an email to cmsadmin@pittstate.edu.
