Setup Your Network Connection.
- Select "Settings" from the "Start" menu.
- Select "Control Panels."
- Next, select the "Internet Options" control panel.
- Select the "Never Dial A Connection" radio button.
- Press the "Setup" button in the upper-right of the window.
- Check the radio button that says "I Want to Setup my Connection Manually or I Want to Connect through a Local Area Network (LAN)"
- Select the "I connect through a local area network (LAN)."
- Be sure that nothing is selected in the Proxy Settings box and press "Next."
- Finish by either setting up an email account or not, either selection will not effect your access to ResNet.
