Dr. Judy Berry-Bravo is a University Professor and has served as Chair since 2000. Before coming to PSU, she taught at Wichita State University where she was Spanish Division Director. Prior to that she taught at Ft. Hays State University, served as Chair and Spanish Teacher at Whitfield School in St. Louis, and taught English as a Second Language at WSU. Dr. Berry-Bravo is married with two grown sons. Her husband, Pedro Bravo-Elizondo, is a Full Professor of Latin American Literature and Film at Wichita State University.

linguistics.
Hobbies
Dr. Berry-Bravo's love of travel dates back many years. She has been in almost every Spanish-speaking country and in Brazil and Canada. One thing she always does abroad is check out the bookstores and the local horticulture. While her gardens in Pittsburg will never look like those she admires abroad, her home library is overgrown with thousands of volumes of good reading.
