German Club members participated in Rumble in the Jungle and the Study Abroad Expo. They made Schulüten, (candy filled cones), used to celebrate a child’s first day of first grade in Germany. Their community project was a Broadway clean up before homecoming. They attended the Homecoming parade to support one of their members from Armenia. Oktoberfest was celebrated at TLC Stables, singing songs on stage while the band took a break and the crowd participated in a three-minute German challenge. For the last two years, the Club has sold Advent Calendars as a fundraising project. |
