Graduate Program in Engineering Technology

Program Overview

The Master of Engineering Technology degree is intended to be a terminal professional degree. This graduate program is a professional multi-disciplinary team and project-oriented approach to graduate education. It meets the need of graduate students who want to expand their knowledge in advanced engineering technology courses. It also provides the flexibility for the graduate student to expand their knowledge in a specific technical specialty or in a research option with thesis.

Program Objectives

  • To provide specialized engineering technology education to those who currently hold an accredited baccalaureate degree in engineering technology.
  • To provide individuals with additional opportunities for advancement in their chosen careers.
  • To provide additional engineering technology education to those desiring careers as instructors at the secondary or post secondary level.
  • To allow practicing professionals the opportunity to update knowledge and skills based on the latest technological developments.
