Program Overview

The construction program at Pittsburg State offers degrees in the area of Construction Engineering Technology and Construction Management. These programs prepare professionals for careers in commercial construction, residential construction, industrial construction, civil/heavy/highway construction and all the supporting industries.

The program focuses on modern construction technologies such as the following:

• computer estimating and scheduling
• computer/digital layout
• laser equipment and
• real construction laboratories.

• good mechanical aptitude
• competence in academic subjects such as mathematics, science, speech, English and computer applications
