All faculty are required to keep regular office hours when school is in session. Faculty should inform students in their classes of their office hours, post the hours on their office doors, and inform the department secretary of the hours. Faculty are expected to be available to students without appointment during posted office hours or to inform the department secretary that they will be absent. Full-time faculty are expected to keep ten office hours per week.Graduate teaching assistants and part-time instructors should keep one office hour on each day they teach.
