Introduction
Department committees are empowered by the faculty of the Department to carry out their functions as defined below. However, committees will recommend to the Department as a whole all policy changes
and other issues requiring departmental approval. The department chairperson, as ex officio member of all
departmental committees, is responsible for advising committees regarding policy changes and other issues
that require approval of the Department.
