ENGL 113 General Literature: ENGL 113 General Literature can be taken prior to ENGL 304 and will count as an elective (from the 6 lower division ENGL elective hours possible), OR English majors may omit ENGL 113, count ENGL 304 for their General Education requirement, and instead complete three additional hours of literature credits numbered 300 or above.

ENGL Electives: Six of the twelve elective hours must be literature courses numbered 500 or above.

CURIN 511 Methods and Materials in Middle Level Education is required for students seeking Middle Level licensure. Spring only.
