Responsibilities
- Provide campus-wide assistance/support with teacher licensing issues
- Provide support to area principals, superintendents, and directors of special education cooperatives/inter locals
- Answer questions concerning alternative licensure
- Serve as liaison with Kansas State Department of Education Office of Teacher Education and Licensure
- Process applications for initial licensure for PSU graduates
- Process applications for added teaching endorsement, leadership, and school specialist licenses for PSU graduates/program completers
- Complete out-of-state program completion verification for PSU teacher education graduates
- Complete out-of-state program completion verification for PSU leadership and school specialist graduates/program completers
- Complete evaluations for initial licensure for those holding a baccalaureate degree
- Complete evaluations for added teaching endorsement, leadership, and school specialist licenses
- Complete waiver letters as requested
