Ways to Give

Private Support:
The Annual Fund is the annual giving program of Pittsburg State University with activities that continue throughout the year. Periodic mailings, telephone campaigns, class agent mailings and special solicitations create opportunities through which alumni and friends of PSU can contribute to the University each year. Campaign years run from July 1 through June 30.

In-Kind Gift:
In-kind gifts support the instruction and research programs of Pittsburg State University and are very important to the development of the University. In-kind gifts may be informally discussed by any member of the Pittsburg State University community and a prospective donor. Click for form.

How to Make a Gift to the University:
Gifts may be made in a variety of forms, including cash, securities, real estate, trusts, life insurance and bequests. Gifts to Pittsburg State are tax-deductible to the full extent of the Internal Revenue Code.

Cash Gifts:

• Use your credit card. The University accepts Visa, MasterCard, or Discover. To charge a gift to the University call (620) 235-4769 or go to Gift Form
  
• Send a check payable to Pittsburg State University Foundation, P.O. Box 4005, Pittsburg, KS 66762
  
• Double your gift. If you work for a company that matches gifts to universities, secure the matching gift form from your company's human resources office and send it with your gift.

• If you wish to transfer securities to Pittsburg State, the official name is Pittsburg State University Foundation, Inc. Our federal tax identification number is 48-6104332. The Pittsburg State University Foundation, Inc. is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization.
  
• You may wish to make provisions for Pittsburg State University in your will by making a bequest for a future gift of your estate. Depending on your interests, Pittsburg State University Foundation can help frame appropriate wording to be included in your will that will carryout your wishes.
