The PSU ROTC Battalion has more than doubled in the past four years, increasing from 30 to 76 cadets, as we try to assist the Army grow by more than 30,000 Soldiers over the next two to three years. There are currently 57 cadets that receive full tuition scholarships from the Army in a cadet battalion that boasts a 95% job placement rate at a starting salary of $48,500 as a second lieutenant. PSU has produced 1134 Army officers since its inception, to include 10 General officers. These former cadets have gone on to all branches of the Army, and whether they only serve a few years or go on to become career officers, these alumni continue to make the PSU ROTC proud to have been a part of their lives.
