BUSINESS AND INTERNATIONAL EDUCATION PROGRAM
Activities in First Year BIE (second grant)
1. Global Business Resource Center
The Global Business Resource Center provides materials like books, references, handbooks, maps, DVDs, and videos. There are 2 computers that can be used to find information about international business. There are also flags of all country and three clocks which show times from different part of the world. Students can also got lots of information about BIE's activities, International Business Student Association, and International Business degree program.
2. Faculty Development
The BIE Grant Program supported lots of faculty development, like professional conferences, Research Abroad, Exchange Scholars, and International Workshops and Seminars. Here is the list of faculty development:

5. Course Development
BIE developed some new courses with the help of some PSU professors:
a. International Employment Law by Dr. Art Fischer.
b. Geography of East Asia by Dr. Tom Bailey & Catherine Hooey.
c. Islamic Heritage from West Africa to Central Asia by Dr. Stephen Harmon.

7. Internship Program
BIE supported a student of PSU for an international internship. The student is Izabela Ruiz and the internship is in Italy.
8. Future Activities
For the second year, BIE plan to support more activities.
