Dr. Edmée Fernández is an Associate Professor of Spanish who joined the PSU faculty in the Fall of 1998. Dr. Fernández has three children, all graduates of the University of Kansas, and a seven-year-old grandson, Kaelum.

Teaching Emphasis
Dr. Fernández enjoys teaching Spanish conversation, although she has devoted a majority of her time to researching and experimenting with the teaching of writing and the development and assessment of writing proficiency.
