FCS Scholarship Information

Applying for on-campus FCS Scholarships

Each January and February it is time to apply for departmental scholarships. This is an easy process, but it is one that most students do not take advantage of. Go to  the financial aid page  and follow the directions.  You need to end up on the University application for scholarship page.  Please read through the information provided to learn the steps of the process.

Ruth B. Sayre Scholarship.  This memorial scholarship of $500.00 is offered for the purpose of fostering educational development of women.

Kansas Nutrition Council Scholarship - $1,000

Applicants must be Kansas residents who are going to be juniors or seniors or graduate students enrolled at a college or university located in Kansas.  The must be majoring in nutrition, dietetics, Family & Consumer Sciences or a related subject.  Selection is based on the overall strength of the application.  Applications are available online.

Interior Design majors only  -  April 30th Deadline  -  $5,000 scholarships.

American Association of Interior Designers.  The ASID Foundation, Inc., provides scholarships and awards for undergraduate and graduate students in a number of categories.

PAVE Accepting Applications for the 2016 Eric Feigenbaum Academic Scholarship:  The 2016 Eric Feigenbaum Academic Scholarship is funded by B+N Industries.  This award recognizes and supports leadership potential in the retail design field through a $5,000 award.  The Scholarship is solely academic based.  Guidelines, requirements, and the application can be found on the PAVE website.  Applications must be received by February 29, 2016.  Direct all inquiries to pave@paveinfo.org.
