Professional Interests:
Primarily, my general focus lies within the area of career and technical education. Preparing individuals to teach others is my passion. I believe Family and Consumer Sciences serves as a direct avenue to success in a multitude of areas for students today. I intend to continue building a link between the areas of education, Family and Consumer Sciences and industry.

Research Interests:
Currently, my research interests are related to the area of retention of career and technical educators. Data has been collected on Family and Consumer Sciences teachers and is currently underway for Health Occupations educators. I look forward to analyzing data from several areas and identifying factors beneficial to retaining quality teachers in the area of CTE.
