The state of Kansas has developed a standardized articulation agreement form based on the PSU FCS model.  It can be found at:  Kansas Articulation Link for each of the articulated areas.  Please use that information to develop the required materials for articulating with our programs.

High Schools

*   Renewal of Articulation Agreements - the process to renew articulation agreements is a simple one.  There are two versions of the form KSDE From blank & KSDE with PSU information.  Schools or university programs can initiate the renewal by filling in the necessary information and having it signed by the appropriate individual.  It is then loaded up to KSDE by the school district.

 Community Colleges

In 2014 - 2015 the FCS department is beginning an initiative to create 2 + 2 agreements with all of Kansas Community Colleges and some Technical Colleges.  A two-plus-two articulation agreement is a contract between a community college and a four-year university in which a student studies at he community college, usually working toward an associates degree, and then completes their junior and senior years at the four-year institution for the bachelors degree.  The agreements are program specific so that the courses have a guaranteed application toward a specific bachelor's degree program.  Courses taken at the community college level usually focus mostly on general education courses and will likely constitute about 80% of the 60 credit hours in those first two years.
