Our Theatre Program
The theatre emphasis includes the major areas of performance studies, acting, directing, design and technical practice. Under the direction of talented and experienced faculty, students may participate in a wide variety of performance experiences across the spectrum of the arts, including classical, contemporary, and experimental work. Productions are often conceived from an interdisciplinary perspective and created in close collaboration with other emphasis areas. The program takes a dedicated liberal arts approach to theatre training and expects a high level of participation. Students have the opportunity for significant hands-on opportunties both on and off stage that are often not available in larger programs.
