Taxonomy of Vascular Plants

Undergraduate level course

Lecture and laboratory. The scientific classification and identification of ferns and seed plants, with emphasis on the local flora. Methods of collection, preservation and preparation of herbarium specimens included. Prerequisite: BIOL 212 Principles of Biology II or permission of instructor.
