General Microbiology

Undergraduate level course
Fundamentals of morphology, physiology, growth, taxonomy, and cultivation of bacteria and related microorganisms. Including a brief introduction to their role in industry, agriculture and medicine.
Prerequisite: BIOL 111/112 General Biology/Laboratory or BIOL 211 Principles of Biology I, and CHEM 105/106 Introductory Chemestry/Laboratory or equivalent of CHEM 215/216 General Chemistry I/Laboratory. Special Course Info: May be Taken for Honors Notes: Corequisite: BIOL 372 General Microbiology Laboratory.
