Construction Engineering Technology and Construction Management prepare professionals for careers in commercial, residential, and industrial construction, as well as civil/heavy/highway construction and all supporting industries. These programs focus on modern, professional construction technologies such as computer estimating and scheduling, digital layout using laser/GPS/robotic equipment through the use of real-world construction laboratories.
If you've ever considered a career in the industrial field, there's one important thing you need to know: safety in the workplace is more crucial than ever. The School of Construction offers a comprehensive sequence of courses leading to a degree in Environmental and Safety Management or a minor in Safety, Health and Environmental Management.
The Bachelor of Science in Interior Design degree prepares students for professional practice as an interior designer in the fields of commercial and residential design, with opportunities in the construction and graphic design fields. The interior design curriculum is designed as a creative, problem solving approach including the application of materials and processes for creating environments that improve the quality of life and protects the health, safety, and welfare of the public. The Interior Design degree has been approved to start June 2016.
