Troy Comeau is one of four faculty members who joined our staff in fall 1998. Before arriving here, he spent two years teaching at his undergraduate alma mater, Missouri Southern in Joplin.
In 2003, Mr. Comeau was appointed director of Broadcasting at Pittsburg State. He also currently serves as the director of sports broadcasting and co-advisor to the student association of broadcasters. Mr. Comeau’s sports broadcasting class has consistantly finished as a national finalist in the Collegiate Broadcasting Student awards.
Outside the classroom, Mr. Comeau plays softball on a team that usually qualifies for state and regional competition. He is more than an average Kansas City Chiefs fan and admits his students know a quiz is forthcoming on Monday if the Chiefs lose on Sunday.
Mr. Comeau is married. He and his wife Lorie enjoy spending time with their son, Jesse.
