Welcome to the Department of Communication at Pittsburg State University, Pittsburg, Ks. Located in the Southeast corner of the state, PSU serves a four-state community of Kansas, Oklahoma, Missouri and Arkansas.

In our department, Bachelor of Arts candidates may specialize in advertising, broadcasting, communication education, journalism, photojournalism, public relations and theatre. Master's candidates may choose either an applied track or a research track. The applied track is designed for students pursuing careers in the communication profession, while the research emphasis prepares students for doctoral work.
