Sang-Heui Lee, Ph.D.

Sang-Heui Lee is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Management and Marketing and joined the faculty in August of 2010. He has a B.E. degree in Computer Science from University of Incheon, an M.A. degree in Computer Science from University of Colorado Denver, and a Ph.D. in Management from University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
Prior to joining to academia, Lee worked for MCI WorldCom and Insurance Technologies as a Software Engineer and for Eastman Kodak Company as a Senior Consultant. Dr. Lee has taught management courses include Management Information Systems, Operations Management, Quality Management, Principles of Management, and Business Programming.
Lee's research interests are focused on Enterprise Information Systems, Open-Source supply chain application modules, and open innovation. His academic works have been accepted for publication in, journals such as Production and Inventory Management Journal, International Journal of Information & Decision Sciences, Enterprise Information System, Service Business, International Journal of Information Technology and Management and Journal of Service Industries. He has also recently contributed to the Database Warehouse, The Handbook of Technology Management, John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
Lee's recent research awards include Outstanding Research Assistant Award, College of Business Administration, Outstanding Graduate Research Assistant Award, Graduate Studies, and Outstanding Research Assistant Award, Department of Management, University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Lee has presented at numerous conferences including Decision Science Institute Annual Meeting, Pan-Pacific Conference, Big XII+ MIS Research Symposium, Americas Conference on Information Systems, and Academy of Management.
He is affiliated with several professional societies including Decision Science Institute, Pan-Pacific Conference, Big XII+ MIS Research Symposium, and Academy of Management.
