Why People Give to Pittsburg State University

“I made a gift to the Fine and Performing Arts Center fund because I think it is important to support the university and community where you work. I made this gift because I really care about the students. I only hope that others will step forward to support the project.

“I know that giving students a venue where they can let their talents and gifts blossom is very worthwhile. Many people don’t have the opportunity to travel on a regular basis to cities with significant fine arts offerings. Such a facility would make it much more likely that the university would be able to bring more of the arts to southeast Kansas and the Four State region.”

“It is my belief that giving of yourself, whether expressed in financial terms or time, is the fulfillment of a life responsibility. My choice to give to Pittsburg State University is based on this belief, along with my desire to honor a professor and mentor and in some small way help PSU in providing a positive experience for both its students, staff and community. The rewards of giving are immeasurable. Go Gorillas!”
