Instructional Support

"All Arts and Sciences faculty and staff are welcome on a daily walk-in basis for assistance with software and mediated classroom equipment. You may also call me to set up an appointment or to inquire if help is available for particular software. If you have other training topics that you would like to see a workshop offered, please email me.

CAS Workshops for ANGEL LMS and various software are held in the Faculty Computer Lab in 202 Grubbs Hall.
Listing of Workshops offered and registration form.   Workshops can also be scheduled by departments and held in the department's computer lab or in the Faculty Computer Lab which seats seven.

Also available are two resource areas (listed in the ANGEL Courses nugget) that faculty can access through our ANGEL LMS.

  • 'Faculty Training in ANGEL' resource contains helpful hints in using ANGEL including getting your course setup, using the ANGEL system, and the ANGEL workshop handouts. This resource is updated throughout the semester with new information and hints.
  • 'Faculty Workarea in ANGEL' resource is a new way of learning ANGEL in a 'student free' area where Faculty can team up and work together to explore the possibilities and functionalities of ANGEL and become comfortable with these tools before deciding to implement them in the classroom.  This resource is not confined to any schedule workshop times and is available for faculty to use at their leisure at any time.

If you would like to be enrolled or have any questions or problems with these resources, please email me."
