Mission Statement

The mission of the College of Business is to support Pittsburg State University by providing undergraduate and graduate programs in business. The college provides educational opportunities primarily to students from southeast Kansas and the adjacent regions, as well as to students from other countries. The primary emphasis in the college is on undergraduate degree programs.

The college fulfills the responsibilities of teaching, intellectual contributions, and service. Application of knowledge is emphasized in each of these three areas. The teaching of students is of primary importance. Intellectual contributions, which enhance teaching, professional development, and service, are also important.

The College of Business will become one of the best regional business colleges in the Midwest.
